Mr. Amit Khandelwal is Divisional Vice President, Revenue Optimization at Emirates. He is responsible for Inventory Management across Emirates network, Revenue Planning & Forecasting, and Revenue Systems. He has over 25 years of experience with the Travel industry working in geographies across North America, Asia, Middle East and Europe with specialization in Network Planning, Revenue Management (RM), Pricing, Forecasting and Distribution.
Prior to joining Emirates, Amit was VP of Network Planning and RM for IndiGo, the largest carrier in India. He worked with PROS, a leader in airline RM, heading the airline products group and working closely with customers including Lufthansa, Swissair, Singapore Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Disney. He started his career with United Airlines in Chicago as an O.R. Analyst rising to Manager of Decision Support in RM.
Amit holds an MS in Operations Research from The University of Texas at Austin and Dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. He has also completed Executive Education programs at the London Business School and the University of St. Gallen.
