William Cavendish is Vice President Distribution Strategy – Global Sales at Emirates, where he leads Emirates’s distribution systems strategy and channel mix in support of Emirates’s overall business objectives to ensure revenue maximization and value for money including effective distribution and brand reach in multiple channels.
William is developing and executing the 3-5 year Emirates GDS strategy, including strategic selection (participation levels and partnerships) in conjunction with Global Sales and Account Management. He leads the co-ordination of this activity including vendor negotiations, distribution system and business requirements within existing and future PSS, Business Intelligence, IATA NDC, Corporate & Retail Direct Connect and On-line Travel Agency solutions.
William is an experienced aviation executive with over 20 years of extensive global experience in Distribution, Business Operations, Distribution Strategy, Airline & Airport Information Technology, Global Distribution Services, Corporate Travel, and Border Management. He is a member of the UK Institute of Business Consultants.
